Analysis
This resolution authorizes the transfer of 2010 Community Organizing/Crime Awareness Prevention/NSP Area 2 funding in the amount of $50,000 from the Silver Neighborhood Center to the Havenwoods Economic Development Corp.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee has previously approved the award of $50,000 to the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center for the 2010 Community Organizing/Crime Awareness Prevention/NSP Area 2; and

Whereas, The Silver Spring Neighborhood Center has notified the Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) of their agreement to transfer the 2010 funding to Havenwoods Economic Development Corp. in the amount of $50,000 (see attached letter); and

Whereas, The Community and Economic Development Committee recommends the transfer of the Community Organizing/Crime Awareness Prevention/NSP Area 2 funding from the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center to the Havenwoods Economic Development Corp. in the amount of $50,000; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Community Development Grants Administration is authorized the transfer the Community Organizing/Crime Awareness Prevention/NSP Area 2 funds as stated above; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Havenwoods Economic Development Corp. shall submit budget and activity reports in amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and in accordance with File Number 74-92-5v, to the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it

Further Resolved, That payments for CDBG cost incurred shall be paid in accordance with approved CDBG reimbursement policy based on the approval by the Community ...
