Analysis
This resolution authorizes the transfer of HOME-Community Housing Development Organization funding in the amount of $350,051 from the Bishop’s Creek Development Corp. to the Martin Luther King Economic Development Corp.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee has previously approved the 2006 HOME-CHDO award to the Bishops Creek Development Corp. for the housing activity as a HOME-Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO); and

Whereas, The Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) has notified Bishops Creek Development Corp. of their intentions regarding the 2006 funding; and

Whereas, The Martin Luther King Economic Development Corp. has notified CDGA of their intentions to use the HOME-CHDO funding for a project titled Scattered Site III in the amount of $350,051; and

Whereas, The Community and Economic Development Committee recommends the transfer of the HOME-CHDO funding from the Bishop’s Creek Development Corp. to the Martin Luther King Economic Development Corp. in the amount of $350,051; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Community Development Grants Administration is authorized the transfer the HOME-CHDO funds as stated above; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Martin Luther King Economic Development Corp, shall submit budget and activity reports in amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and in accordance with File Number 74-92-5v, to the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it
