Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
“On the east side of South 6th Street from West Virginia to West Scott Streets from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm and from 7:00 am to 9:00 am except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the west side of South 6th Street from West Virginia to West Scott Streets from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the north side of West Morgan Avenue from South 9th Place to South 26th Street from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday”
“On the south side of West Morgan Avenue from South 9th Place to South 26th Street from 7:00 am to 9:00 am Monday through Friday”
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the west side of South 6th Street from West Scott Street to West Greenfield Avenue from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the north side of West Morgan Avenue from South 9th Place to the first north-south alley west thereof, at any time”
“On the north side of West Morgan Avenue from a point approximately 170 feet west to the west curb line of South 20th Street to a point 300 feet further west thereof at any time”
“On the south side of West Morgan Avenue from a point 120 feet west of South 20th Street to a point 120 feet west thereof at any time”
“On the south side of West Morgan Avenue from a point 190 feet west of the west curb line of South 20th Street to the C&NW right-of-way further west thereof, at any time”
“On the south side of West Morgan Avenue from a point 288 feet east of the east curb line of South 22nd Street to a point 192 feet east thereof at any time”
