WHEREAS, Travaux Inc. solicited sealed bids by Official Notice Number 58040 during the period October 29, 2021 through December 3, 2021 for Windows and Patio Doors (Commodity Only) for Building 3.1 (Westlawn Renaissance V) at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and

WHEREAS, said solicitation was unsuccessful, garnering two bids that did not meet the technical requirements of the solicitation and were therefore rejected; and

WHEREAS, time is of the essence for making an award for windows and patio doors because prices are expected to increase significantly shortly after the start of the year 2022, and the sooner a supplier can be contracted the more favorable the pricing will be; and

WHEREAS, Travaux Inc., having already solicited a number of sources where competition was determined to be inadequate, conducted a non-competitive, invited solicitation as allowed by the Code of Federal Regulations; and

WHEREAS, Insulation Technologies Inc., a qualified and competent bidder, submitted the sole responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $322,319.10; therefore, be it,

RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. that it hereby authorizes and approves accepting the bid of and entering into a contract with Insulation Technologies Inc. for Windows and Patio Doors (Commodity Only) for Building 3.1 (Westlawn Renaissance V) at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from Westlawn Renaissance V Mixed Financing; and, be it
