Title
Resolution approving a Land Disposition Report for the property at 517-19 West North Avenue, in the 6th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee to convey said land according to the conditions in a Land Disposition Report.
Body
Whereas, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (“RACM”) acquired 517-19 West North Avenue in 2007 (the “Property”); and
Whereas, RACM received an unsolicited offer for the Property from Maures Development Group, LLC to combine with 517-519 West North Avenue with the adjacent property at 507 West North Avenue which is owned by DSK LLC to create a development site; and
Whereas, Authorization of proposed sale is contingent on approval by RACM at its Public Hearing to be held on December 16, 2021 as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, RACM submits herewith a Land Disposition Report describing the terms and conditions of the proposed sale; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Land Disposition Report dated December 14, 2021, with respect to the proposed sale of the following Property, is approved:
