Resolution relative to the 2022 Capital Improvements Program to provide funds for street lighting work at various locations.

Analysis

This resolution provides funds for street lighting alterations at various locations in response to lighting needs and paving projects and authorizes 2022 fund transfers for the general purposes indicated.

Body

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of Public Works is hereby authorized to modify and install street lighting at various locations; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the Comptroller’s Office is authorized to transfer from the Street Lighting budget, Account Number ST240220000 up to $10,900,000, to the general purpose sub-accounts indicated as follows:

 

General Engineering

Substation Control System and Repair

Account Number:   ST240220200

 

Substation Enclosure Maintenance

Account Number:   ST240220300

 

Street Lighting Related to Paving

Account Number:   ST240220400

 

Street and Alley Lighting Conversion

Remove Series Circuitry

Pole, Cable and Miscellaneous Replacement

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer funds as required without further Common Council authorization, the total amount of such transfer shall not exceed the amount authorized in the 2022 Street Lighting budget.
