The applicant says that she has no intention of applying for a liquor license in the future. No neighborhood objectors to traffic problems present when called. Ald. Leanell Smith applied for a food dealer license from the City of Milwaukee on June 4, 2009, and

Whereas, The Health Department received an objection from Ald. Willie Hines, Jr. to a food dealer license for Leanell Smith for the premises at 1845 N. 12th Street doing business as "Families First Food Market" in the 15th Aldermanic District; and

The Common Council's Licenses Committee held an evidentiary hearing on the application on November 16, 2009; and

The Committee heard aldermanic testimony in opposition to the license and the applicant appeared at committee and testified on her own behalf; now, therefore,

It is moved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the food dealer license application of Leanell Smith for the premises at 1845 N. 12th Street, ("Families First Food Market") be granted.
