Title
Resolution approving Year 2022 Operating Plans for various Neighborhood Improvement Districts, located in the City of Milwaukee.
Analysis
Section 66.1110(4)(b), Wisconsin Statutes, require that Neighborhood Improvement Districts submit annual Operating Plans for City approval. This resolution approves Year 2022 Operating Plans for Neighborhood Improvement District Nos. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 11 and authorizes assessments on taxable property within said Districts.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee (“Common Council”) has created Neighborhood Improvement Districts (“NIDs”) in the City of Milwaukee and has approved their Initial Operating Plans; and
Whereas, Section 66.1110(4)(b), Wisconsin Statutes, requires that Boards of NIDs submit annual Operating Plans to the Common Council for approval; and
Whereas, The Boards of NID Nos. 1 (The Brewery), 3 (Washington Park), 4 (Sherman Park), 5 (Heritage Heights), 6 (Historic Garden Homes), 7 (Harambee), 9 (Havenwoods), 10 (Riverview) and 11 (River Ridge) have submitted proposed Year 2022 Operating Plans; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Year 2022 Operating Plans for NID Nos. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11, are approved; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Treasurer, City Comptroller, Assessment Commissioner and other affected departments are directed to collect and disburse NID assessments in accordance with said Year 2022 Operating Plans; and, be it
Further Resolved, That all City officials, departments, boards and commissions are directed to take all actions and provide such assistance, as necessary, to carry out the intent and purpose of this resolution and said approved Year 2022 Operating Plans.
