Minutes note: A motion was made Commissioner Crouther, and seconded by Commissioner DeVougas to approve the addition of four (4) residence preference points to all promotional applicants' test scores for the Milwaukee Police and Fire Departments. This motion failed by the following vote:

No: Cocroft, McKenzie, Wilson, Soler
A motion was made by Commissioner Cocroft, and seconded by Commissioner Wilson, to grant four (4) residency preference points to the test scores of promotional applicants within the Milwaukee Police Department and Milwaukee Fire Department after an applicant provides evidence of two (2) years of continuous residency in the City of Milwaukee.
