Resolution authorizing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a project agreement title “Cost Sharing Memo of Understanding Between the City of Milwaukee and the Village of Brown Deer” for the cost sharing of the high impact asphalt surface overlay of West Bradley Road from North 51st Street to North 60th Street in the 9th Aldermanic District with a total estimated cost of $350,000, of which the City’s share is $175,000 and the Village of Brown Deer’s share is $175,000.

Whereas, The street was reconstructed in 1985 and is in need of rehabilitation; and

Whereas, The project is included in the Department of Public Works High Impact Resurface Program; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee and Village of Brown Deer share jurisdiction ownership of the roadway and will share the construction costs; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee will be the lead agency of the project design and construction; and

Whereas, This project is programmed for construction in 2020; and

Whereas, the funding for the project will be the Developer account (Project grant  ST214200103); and

Whereas, Funding for the construction phase of the project was included in resolution 191264; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public works is hereby authorized to execute the project agreement titled “Cost Sharing Memo of Understanding Between the City of Milwaukee and the Village of Brown Deer” for the cost sharing of the rehabilitation of West Bradley Road from North 51st Street between North 60th Street, copies of which are attached to Common Council Resolution File Number  200232, and are incorporated by reference as though set forth in full.
