Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2020 offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:
Election Commission, Health Department, Department of Public Works - Water Works
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 190614 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Election Commission, Auxiliary”, add eight positions of “Temporary Program Assistant I” and add one position of “Temporary Election Services Office Administrator”.
Under “Health Department, Environmental Health Division, Home Environmental Health”, add footnote “(EE)” and amend footnote "(QQ)" as follows:
“(EE) Will partially fund Home Environmental Health Manager. To expire 07/31/20 unless the Using Health in All Policies Strategies to Address Lead Poisoning Prevention Grant is extended.”
“(QQ) To expire 07/01/23 unless the Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration Grant from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is extended. Also partially funds positions of Deputy Commissioner of Environmental Health, Home Environmental Health Mgr., Lead Project Coordinator, and Chemist.”
Under “Office of the Commissioner & Health Administration, Human Resources”, delete one position of “Personnel Payroll Assistant II” and add one position of “Personnel Payroll Assistant III”.
Under “Department of Public Works - Water Works, Plants - North Organization, Linwood and North Water Production”, delete three positions of “Water Treatment Plant Operator” and add three positions of “Senior Water Treatment Plant Operator”.
