Analysis
This resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee to convey said land according to the conditions in a Land Disposition Report.
Body
Whereas, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (“Authority”) acquired 541 North 20th Street in 1998 (the “Property”); and
Whereas, The Authority issued a Request for Proposal for the purchase and development of the Property and selected the Herro Company Inc. to develop a housing project at the Property; and
Whereas, Authorization of proposed sale is contingent on approval by the Authority at its Public Hearing to be held on February 20, 2020 as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, the Authority submits herewith a Land Disposition Report describing the terms and conditions of the proposed sale; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Land Disposition Report dated January 27, 2020, with respect to the proposed sale of the following Property, is approved:
