Substitute resolution approving Year 2020 Operating Plans for various Business Improvement Districts and Neighborhood Improvement Districts, located in the City of Milwaukee.
Analysis
Sections 66.1109(3)(b) and 66.1110(4)(b), Wisconsin Statutes, require that Business Improvement Districts and Neighborhood Improvement Districts submit annual Operating Plans for City approval. This substitute resolution approves Year 2020 Operating Plans for Business Improvement District Nos. 4, 10, 25, 26, 27, 28, 32, 35, 42, 43, 48, 49, and 51, and Neighborhood Improvement District Nos. 1 and 5, and authorizes assessments on taxable property within said Districts.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee (“Common Council”) has created Business Improvement Districts (“BIDs”) and Neighborhood Improvement Districts (“NIDs”) in the City of Milwaukee and has approved their Initial Operating Plans; and

Whereas, Section 66.1109(3)(b), Wisconsin Statutes, requires that Boards of BIDs submit annual Operating Plans to the Common Council for approval; and

Whereas, Section 66.1110(4)(b), Wisconsin Statutes, requires that Boards of NIDs submit annual Operating Plans to the Common Council for approval; and

Whereas, The Boards of BID Nos. 4 (Greater Mitchell Street), 10 (Near West Side), 25 (Riverworks), 26 (Menomonee Valley), 27 (Burleigh Street), 28(North Avenue Gateway), 32 (North Avenue Market Place), 35 (Kinnickinnic River), 42 (Schlitz Rivercenter), 43 (South 27th Street), 48 (Granville), 49 (Reed Street Yards) and 51 (Harbor District) and NID Nos. 1 (The Brewery) and 5 (Heritage Heights) have submitted proposed Year 2020 Operating Plans; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Year 2020 Operating Plans for BID Nos. 4, 10, 25, 26, 27, 28, 32, 35, 42, 43, 48, 49 and 51 and NID Nos. 1 and 5 are approved; and, be it
