Title

Resolution amending Common Council File Number 161759 to correct the boundary description of the Granville Development District.

Analysis

This resolution corrects the description of the Granville Development District to read “the city of Milwaukee portion of the area bounded by W. County Line Road, W. Good Hope Road, N. 60^th Street and N. 107^th Street.”

Body

Whereas, On April 18, 2017, the Common Council adopted File Number 161759, a resolution creating the Granville Development Advisory Committee and establishing the Granville Development District; and

Whereas, File Number 161759 erroneously describes the Granville Development District as “the area bounded roughly by W. Countyline Road, W. Brown Deer Road, N. 60^th Street and N. 108^th Street; and

Whereas, The Granville Development District is properly described as the city of Milwaukee portion of the area bounded by W. County Line Road, W. Good Hope Road, N. 60^th Street and N. 107^th Street; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the first “Further Resolved” clause of Common Council File Number 161759 is rescinded and replaced by the following:

Further Resolved, That the Granville Development District is created, consisting of the city of Milwaukee portion of the area bounded by W. County Line Road, W. Good Hope Road, N. 60^th Street and N. 107^th Street.
