Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2019 offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:
Department of Administration - Information and Technology Management Division, City Attorney, Common Council-City Clerk, Health Department, Department of Public Works - Transportation Fund
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 180629 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Department of Administration - Information and Technology Management Division, Unified Call Center”, delete two positions of “UCC Customer Service Representative III” and add two positions of “UCC Customer Service Representative III - Bilingual”.
Under “City Attorney, Administrative Division”, delete one position of “Parking Citation Review Manager”.
Under “Health Department, amend footnotes “(A)”, “(O)”, “(P)”, and “(JJ)” to read as follows:
“(A) To expire 06/30/20 unless the CDC Public Health Preparedness Grant is extended.”
“(O) To expire 06/30/20 unless the Congenital Disorders Grant is extended. Also partially funds one position of Public Health Nurse.”
“(P) To expire 06-30-20 unless the Bioterrorism Focus CRI Grant is extended.”
“(JJ) To expire 6/30/20 unless the Wisconsin Well Woman Program Grant, available from the State of Wisconsin - Department of Health Services, is extended.”
Under “Nurse Family Partnership Program”, delete one position of “Public Health Nurse 3 (X)(G)(J)” and add two positions of “Public Health Nurse 3 (0.5 FTE)(X)(G)(J)”.
Under “Department of Public Works - Transportation Fund, Parking Administration/Structures/Meters”, add one position of “Parking Citation Review Manager”.
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 180629 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 12, 2018 - June 3, 2018 in lieu of Pay Period 1, 2019 - December 30, 2018):
Under “Common Council-City Clerk, Central Administration Division”, delete one position of “Intergovernmental Policy Manager” and add one position of “Intergovernmental Policy Manager - Senior”.
Part 3. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 180629 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 14, 2019 - June 30, 2019):
Under “Health Department, Family and Community Health Services Division, Men’s Health Program”, delete one position of “Public Health Educator II (J)(X)(W) and add one position of “Public Health Strategist”.
Under “Disease Control and Environmental Health Services Division, Sexual and Reproductive Health Program”, delete two positions of “Disease Intervention Specialist (X)(B)(F)” and add two positions of “Disease Intervention Specialist Coordinator”.
Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 5. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 12, 2018 (June 3, 2018) in lieu of Pay Period 1, 2019 (December 30, 2018).
Part 6. The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 14, 2019 (June 30, 2019).
The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
Part 7. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
