Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2019 offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:
Common Council - City Clerk, Department of Employee Relations, Health Department, Library
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 180629 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under “Common Council - City Clerk, Central Administration Division”, delete the section title of “Historic Preservation” and delete two positions of “Senior Planner” and two positions of “Graduate Intern”.

Under the “Legislative Reference Bureau Division”, delete the section title of “Library Section” and delete two positions of “Librarian II”, one positon of “Legislative Library Manager” and one position of “Code Information Specialist”; and delete the section title of “Research and Analysis Section.”

Above the “Document Services” section title insert the division title of “MUNICIPAL RESEARCH CENTER”; under the “Document Services” section title, insert the section titles of “Municipal Research Library” and “Historic Preservation Commission”; and strike, wherever it appears, the section title of “Document Services” and add in lieu thereof the section title of “City Records Center.”

Under the recreated “Municipal Research Library” section title, add one positon of “Legislative Library Manager”, two positions of “Librarian II”, and one position of “Code Information Specialist”; and under the recreated “Historic Preservation Commission” section title, add two positions of “Senior Planner” and two positions of “Graduate Intern”.
