Analysis

Resolution authorizing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute Sewer Easements SE-2880A and SE-2880B in the vacated public alley in the block between South Barclay Street, South Water Street, East Oregon Street, and South Water Street and in vacated East Oregon Street from South Barclay Street to South Water Street, in the 12th Aldermanic District.

 

Body

Whereas, The City asserts its rights under Wis. Stat. Sec. 66.1005(2) to continue to hold an easement and rights incidental in and to the easement areas within the vacated ROWs.

 

Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials, including the Commissioner of Public Works, are hereby authorized: (i) to sign Sewer Easement in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution); and (ii) to cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
