Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the west side of South 38th Street from West Burnham Street to West Maple Street at any time”
“On the west side of North 52nd Street from the north curb line of West Chambers Street to a point 70 feet north thereof, at any time”
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of South 38th Street from West Burnham Street to a point 75 feet north
On the east side of North Jackson Street from a point 130 feet south of East Wells Street to a point 20 feet south thereof
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On South Howell Avenue between East Bolivar Avenue and West Martin Lane”
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North Broadway from North Water Street north to the Milwaukee River from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Sunday
On the east side of North Milwaukee Street from East Lyon Street to North Water Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Sunday
On North Milwaukee Street from North Water Street north to the Milwaukee River from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Sunday
On East Pleasant Street from North Water Street to a point 300 feet west from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Sunday
On the east side of North Water Street from North Milwaukee Street to East Pleasant Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Sunday
On the west side of North Water Street from North Broadway to North Milwaukee Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Sunday
On the west side of North Water Street from East Pleasant Street to appoint 400 feet north from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Sunday
