This resolution authorizes City officials to issue an occupancy permit to James Craig Builders allowing them to occupy the north sidewalk and traffic lane of East Pearson Street adjacent to 1010 East Pearson Street for construction activities.
Body
Whereas, James Craig Builders has been contracted for construction services at 1010 East Pearson Street; and
Whereas, James Craig Builders is requesting permission to occupy the north sidewalk and traffic lane of East Pearson Street on or around February 20, 2019 through March 22, 2019; and
Whereas, James Craig Builders will only close the traffic lane between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM; and
Whereas, James Craig Builders will be responsible to contact all affected property owners and businesses informing them of the closure and the affected dates; and
Whereas, The Commissioner of Public Works may approve temporary occupancy of up to one-third of the width of the right of way while temporary use beyond that point must be approved by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to issue an occupancy permit to James Craig Builders allowing them to occupy the north sidewalk and traffic lane of East Pearson Street to start on or about February 20, 2019 through March 9, 2019;
