Resolution relating to expenditure of funds to be reimbursed by greater than anticipated revenue (Police Department).
Analysis
Body
Whereas, Section 304-91 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances establishes procedural guidelines related to the expenditure of funds to be reimbursed by greater than anticipated revenues; and
Whereas, CCFN 170211 authorized an agreement between the City of Milwaukee Police Department and Milwaukee Brewers relating to Law Enforcement and Security Services; and
Whereas, the Milwaukee Brewers agreed to pay for Law Enforcement and Security Services for each home game; and
Whereas, The Milwaukee Brewers played additional home games in 2018 requiring greater than anticipated Law Enforcement and Security Services,
Whereas, The City Comptroller has certified greater than anticipated revenue in the amount of $1,680,000, pursuant to s. 304-91,
Pursuant to s. 304-91, I hereby certify that the money required for this is anticipated to be realized on or before December 31, 2018 and to be expended only for the purpose in this resolution.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Comptroller is authorized to increase appropriations in the amount of $1,680,000 in the Police Department 2018 Salary account (0001-3310-R999-006000) and to increase the 2018 Estimated Revenue account (0001-3310-009400) by $1,680,000.
Further Resolved, That the Comptroller is authorized and directed to establish the necessary accounts and accounting procedures to carry out the intent of this resolution.
