Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

2nd Aldermanic District

Alley between W. Capitol Dr., W. Melvina St., N. 53rd St., and N. 54th St. (ST212090105) File Number 080386: Concrete alley pavement reconstruction, replace some abutting walk or driveway approaches, grading, and storm drainage facilities where necessary. (Assessable Alley Paving Fund -- $10,000; Nonassessable Alley Paving Fund -- $35,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $50,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2009 construction season.
