Substitute resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations and appropriating funds for these purposes with the City engineering cost estimated to be $783,000 for a total estimated cost of these projects being $22,985,000.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $783,000 with the total cost estimated to be $22,985,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
2nd Aldermanic District
Sanitary Sewer Lateral Lining in Area Bounded By -- W. Glendale Ave. to W. Congress St. from N. 71st St. to N. 66th St. (SM494180048). Sanitary Sewer lining. (Infiltration/Inflow Reduction Fund -- $20,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $2,159,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.
5th Aldermanic District
W. Burleigh St. (south-side) - N. Menomonee River Pkwy (east) to N. Menomonee River Pkwy (west) (ST210140106) Install asphalt mixed use recreational trail. (non-Assessable New Paving Fund - $5,000). The total estimated cost of the project including the requested amount is $30,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2019 construction season.
