Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the north side of West Hampton Avenue from a point 225 feet west of the west line of Chicago & Northwestern Railroad right-of-way west to North Port Washington Road, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the north side of East and West Hampton Avenue from a point 225 feet west of the west line of the C&NW Railroad right-of-way to North Port Washington Road from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM except Saturday and Sunday and 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the south side of East and West Hampton Avenue from North Port Washington Road to North Santa Monica Boulevard from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM except Saturday and Sunday and from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the east side of North Jackson Street from the north curb line of East Clybourn Street to a point 280 feet north thereof at any time”
“On the east side of North Jackson Street from the north curb line of East Clybourn Street to a point 170 feet north thereof, at any time”
“On the west side of North Jackson Street from East Clybourn Street to East Michigan Street at any time”
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Jackson Street from a point 105 feet north of East Clybourn Street to a point 115 feet north thereof
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Jackson Street from East Clybourn Street to a point 100 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday
On the west side of North Jackson Street from East Clybourn Street to East Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday
On East Locust Street from North Hackett Avenue to North Summit Avenue from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday, Sunday & Permit
Part 4. Section 101-27-9 of the Code relating to Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On West Hampton Avenue from North Port Washington Road to East Hampton Avenue
On East Hampton Avenue from a point 735 feet east of North Lydell Avenue east to the City limits
Part 5. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:
On West Becher Street from South 20th Street to South 24th Street
Part 6. Section 101-32-3-d-3 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Jackson Street from East Clybourn Street to a point 100 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
On the west side of North Jackson Street from East Clybourn Street to East Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
