Substitute resolution relative to acceptance and funding of a Green Infrastructure Partnership Grant.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Milwaukee Public Library to accept and fund a Green Infrastructure Partnership Grant project from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District in the amount of $60,000. The purpose of the project is to enhance several Library parking lots, which are to be replaced to meet ADA standards, with green infrastructure elements.

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District to enhance several Library parking lots, which are to be replaced to meet ADA standards, with green infrastructure elements; and

Whereas, The operation of this grant from 12/1/2018 to 3/15/2019 would cost $60,000 of which $60,000 (100%) would be provided by the grantor; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Milwaukee Public Library shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Section 304-81, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:

1. Commit funds within the Project/Grant Parent of the 2018 Special Revenue--Grant and Aid Projects Fund, the following amounts for the project titled MPL MMSD Green Infrastructure Partnership Grant:
