This motion denies the food dealer license application of Johnnie Lee Little, Jr. for the premises at 2027 W. Juneau Avenue (“Johnnie's Candy Box”)

 

Body

Johnnie Lee Little, Jr. applied for a food dealer license from the City of Milwaukee on April 6, 2009; and

 

Whereas, The Health Department received an objection from Ald. Robert Bauman for a food dealer license for Johnnie Lee Little, Jr. for the premises at 2027 W. Juneau Avenue in the 4th aldermanic district; and

 

The Common Council's Licenses Committee held an evidentiary hearing on the application on May 29, 2009; and

 

The Committee heard aldermanic testimony in opposition to the license and the applicant did not appear at the meeting; now, therefore,

 

It is moved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the food dealer license application of Johnnie Lee Little, Jr. for the premises at 2027 W. Juneau Avenue, ("Johnnie's Candy Box ") be denied.
