Analysis
This resolution authorizes the proper City officials to enter into an agreement to provide special assignment of Milwaukee Police Department officers at the Downtown Arena for events at the Downtown Arena.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee wishes to assign Milwaukee Police Department officers to events at the newly constructed Downtown Arena located in downtown Milwaukee; and
Whereas, Deer District, LLC, the owner of the newly constructed Downtown Arena wishes to reimburse the City of Milwaukee for costs associated with the assignment of Milwaukee Police Department officers to events at the newly constructed Downtown Arena located in downtown Milwaukee; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Chief of Police is authorized to assign Milwaukee Police Department officers to events at the newly constructed Downtown Arena pursuant to the terms of an agreement in substantially similar form to the attached; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper City officials and the Milwaukee Police Department are authorized to enter into an agreement in substantially similar form to the attached.
