This resolution assigns the play lot name "Ervin Killiebrew Court" to 1970 West Olive St. (Basketball Court)

Body

Whereas, An application was submitted by Jonathan Holt, on behalf of Ervin Killiebrew, a childhood friend, on May 17, 2018 and is fully supported by MKE Plays; and

Whereas, This is a previously unnamed basketball court and all signage will be paid for by MKE Plays; and

Whereas, The application was reviewed by the Department of Public Works, which has no objections; and

Whereas, The Citizen Advisory Committee on the Naming of Public Buildings, Facilities and Streets met on June 28, 2018 and voted four (4) ayes and two (2) excused to recommend approval of this naming; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that assigning the play lot name "Ervin Killiebrew Court" to 1970 West Olive St. (Basketball Court) is approved.
