This resolution assigns the play lot name "Bev and Bill Gardner Park" to 6632 W. Hustis St. (67th & Spokane Play Area).

Body

Whereas, An application was submitted by Liz Hammer, on behalf of Havenwoods Economic Development Corporation, on May 17, 2018 and is fully supported by MKE Plays; and

Whereas, This is a previously unnamed park and all signage will be paid for by MKE Plays; and

Whereas, The application was reviewed by the Department of Public Works, which has no objections; and

Whereas, The Citizen Advisory Committee on the Naming of Public Buildings, Facilities and Streets met on June 28, 2018 and voted four (4) ayes and two (2) excused to recommend approval of this naming; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that assigning the play lot name "Bev and Bill Gardner Park" to 6632 W. Hustis St. (67th & Spokane Play Area) is approved.
