Title

A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2018 offices and positions in the City Service.

Analysis

This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:

Department of Administration, Department of City Development, Health Department

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under “Department of Administration - Community Development Grants Administration Division”, add one position of “Grant Monitor (X)(Y)”.

 

Under “Health Department, Family and Community Health Services Division”, delete one position of “Family and Community Health Operations Manager (X)(Y)(U)” and delete one position of “Medical Assistant (U)”.

 

Under “Disease Control and Environmental Health Services Division, Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic”, delete one position of “Communicable and Infectious Disease Program Manager (X)(Y)(U)” and add one position of “Nurse Practitioner (X)”.

 

Part 2.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 6, 2018 - March 11, 2018):

 

Under “Health Department, Disease Control and Environmental Health Services Division, Childhood Lead Detection Program (Z)”, delete one position of “Health Project Assistant II (X)(TT)(RR)” and add one position of “Lead Project Assistant (X)(TT)(RR)”.

 

Part 3.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 14, 2018 - July 1, 2018):

 

Under “Department of City Development, General Management and Policy Development Decision Unit, Housing Development”, delete the heading “Housing Development” and replace with the heading “Housing and Neighborhood Development”.

 

Under “Housing and Neighborhood Development”, delete one position of “Housing Services Specialist”, delete three positions of “Housing Program Specialist (Y)”, add four positions of “Housing Programs Specialist (Y)”, delete one position of “Redevelopment & Special Project Manager (Y)”, add one position of “Redevelopment and Special Projects Manager (Y)”, delete one position of “Housing Rehab. Manager (X)(Y)”, and add one position of “Housing Rehabilitation Manager (X)(Y)”.

 

Part 4.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

Part 5.  The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 6, 2018 (March 11, 2018).

 

Part 6.  The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 14, 2018 (July 1, 2018).

 

The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.

 

Part 7.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
