Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

N. 65th St. - W. Ruby Ave. to W. Armitage Ave. (WT410170640) File Number 151848: Relaying water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $210,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $230,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2017 construction season.

E. Mason St. - N. Jefferson St. to N. Van Buren St. (SM495160081) File Number 170143: Combined sewer relay and lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $45,000, Additional Funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $142,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2017 construction season.

(City Share Non-assessable Structure Fund -- $330,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $350,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2017 construction season.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
