Title
Resolution to recognize a private street and authorize the naming of North Deer Drive, located in the 6th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
To support the development of a training facility building for the Milwaukee Bucks, the property owner has requested that the City designate a portion of its property north of West Winnebago Street, at North 7th Street extended, as a private street. With North Deer Drive designated as a private street, building addresses may be assigned to support mail delivery and emergency service responses.

Whereas, The Milwaukee Bucks are building a training facility north of West Winnebago Street and desire a private street to provide access to this development; and
Whereas, By the City formally designating North Deer Drive, building addresses can be assigned to support mail delivery and emergency service responses; and
Whereas, Section 113-1 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances provides for the naming of private streets; and
Whereas, The developer - the Milwaukee Bucks -- has provided a legal description of the limits of the private street; and
Whereas, As a condition of adopting this resolution, the developer is responsible for placing brown street name signs in accord with s. 113-1 at the developer’s cost, as well as placing and maintaining traffic control devices as necessary to control vehicular traffic leaving the site; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following private street shall be described as follows:
NORTH DEER DRIVE:
