Title
A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-12-4-a of the Code relating to Mandatory Turn Lanes is amended by adding the following:
Eastbound Right Turn Only on West Oregon Street at South 1st Street
Part 2. Section 101-13-2 of the Code relating to 30mph Speed Limits is amended by striking the following:
“On West Burleigh Street from North 60th Street west to city limits”
Part 3. Section 101-13-2 of the Code relating to 30mph Speed Limits is amended by adding the following:
On West Burleigh Street from West Lisbon Avenue to North 80th Street
Part 4. Section 101-13-5 of the Code relating to 35mph Speed Limits is amended by striking the following:
“On West Burleigh Street between North 60th Street and North 76th Street”
“On West Burleigh Street from North 76th Street to a point 150 feet west of North Menomonee River Parkway”
Part 5. Section 101-13-5 of the Code relating to 35mph Speed Limits is amended by adding the following:
On West Burleigh Street from North 80th Street to a point 150 feet west of North Menomonee River Parkway
Part 6. Section 101-13-8 of the code relating to School Speed 20 MPH is amended by adding the following:
On South 6th Street from West Arthur Avenue to the Kinnickinnic River
Part 7. Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by striking the following:
“In the northeast corner right-turn bypass on West Highland Boulevard at North 27th Street”
“In the northwest corner right-turn bypass on West Highland Boulevard at North 27th Street”
“In the southeast corner right-turn bypass on North 27th Street at West Highland Avenue”
Part 8. Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by adding:
On West Whitaker Avenue at South 16th Street
On North 65th Street at West Melvina Street
Part 9. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by striking the following:
“On West Ohio Avenue at South 75th Street”
Part 10. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:
In the northeast corner right-turn bypass on West Highland Boulevard at North 27th Street
In the northwest corner right-turn bypass on West Highland Boulevard at North 27th Street
In the southeast corner right-turn bypass on North 27th Street at West Highland Avenue
On South 75th Street at West Ohio Avenue
Part 11. Section 101-21.5-1 of the Code relating to Designation and Marking of Bicycle Lanes is amended by adding the following:
On West Lakefield Drive from West Morgan Avenue to South 35th Street
