Whereas, An application was submitted by Charlotte Taylor on behalf of the Residents of Garden Homes on April 28, 2016; and

Whereas, The application was reviewed by the Department of Public Works and all related costs have been paid; and

Whereas, The Citizen Advisory Committee on the Naming of Public Buildings, Facilities and Streets met on June 12, 2017 and voted five (5) ayes and zero (0) noes to recommend approval of this honorary naming; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the honorary street naming of West Port Sunlight Way to "Mama Freeman" from North 25th Street to North 27th Street is approved.
