Resolution relative to the cost participation and installation of traffic signal improvements at eleven local street intersections on the North 60th Street and West Hampton Avenue corridors under a Highway Safety Improvement Program project in various Aldermanic Districts at a total estimated cost of $535,237.03, with an estimated grantor share of $362,828, and an estimated City share of $172,409.03, and to install these improvements upon execution of the agreement. This resolution also authorizes the Comptroller to establish and transfer funds to the appropriate accounts for the project. The total estimated cost of the entire project is $1,648,004.03, with a grantor share of $1,260,952, and a City share of $387,052.03.

Whereas, A State Municipal Agreement for the installation of traffic signal improvements at the eleven local street intersections under the 2018 Highway Safety Improvement Program was approved by the Common Council under File Number 140272; and,

Whereas, The Highway Safety Improvement Program provides cost participation for traffic signal and other improvements to reduce the frequency and severity of vehicle and pedestrian crashes; and

Whereas, Eleven intersections on the North 60th Street and West Hampton Avenue corridors as shown on the attached map have been identified for traffic signal improvements; and

Whereas, The total estimated cost of this project is $465,423.50 for the installation of traffic signal improvements; and
