Whereas, The Common Council adopted File Number 151687 on March 29, 2016, to establish the City’s Outstanding Debt Work Group (Work Group) to study the collection of delinquent taxes, forfeitures, judgments and fees owed to the City; and
Whereas, The resolution directed the Work Group to submit a written report of its findings and recommendations to the Common Council no later than July 31, 2016; and
Whereas, The Work Group is still preparing the report of its findings and recommendations; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council File Number 151687 is amended to provide that the Outstanding Debt Work Group shall submit its findings and recommendations to the Common Council not later than October 31, 2016, and shall thereafter be dissolved.
