Title

Resolution authorizing the City Clerk to expend funds appropriated in the 2016 City Budget for the Municipal Identification Card Special Purpose Account.

Analysis

This resolution authorizes the City Clerk to expend funds from the Municipal Identification Card Special Purpose Account, without a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Milwaukee County.

Body

Whereas, Special Purpose Account 0001-1310-S234-006300, Municipal Identification Card, funded at $150,000, was created in the 2016 City Budget; and

 

Whereas, The Municipal Identification Card Special Purpose Account is intended to provide funding for the creation of municipal identification cards; and

 

Whereas, Common Council File Number 160193 directs the City Clerk to create an implementation plan for the Municipal Identification Card program; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Clerk is authorized to expend funds from Special Purpose Account 0001-1310-S234-006300, Municipal Identification Card; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That Common Council File Number 151081, which established the Joint Task Force on Community Identification Cards, adopted December 15, 2015, is rescinded.
