This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works. The City cost of the projects approved by this resolution is estimated to be $9,286,000. The total estimated cost of these projects is $9,553,000.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and

Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

1st Aldermanic District

Area bounded by W. Congress St., W. Hope St., N. 27th St. to the Soo Line Railroad (SM495140040) File Number 140280: Installing new storm sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $4,475,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $4,500,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2016 construction season.

2nd Aldermanic District

N. 76th St. - 290 feet south of W. Grantosa Dr. to W. Medford Ave. (SM495150084) File Number 150997: Relaying storm sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $157,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $169,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2016 construction season.
