Analysis
This resolution authorizes a Conveyance of Rights in Land and a Quit Claim Deed to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, in areas located at the intersection of North 76th Street and West Silver Spring Drive, in the 2nd Aldermanic District.

Body
Whereas, The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (“DOT”) is undertaking a highway improvement project, DOT Project I.D. No. 2140-13-20, concerning improvement to the northerly portion of the West Silver Spring Drive overpass over North 76th Street, and in conjunction therewith, the DOT has requested that the City of Milwaukee provide Conveyance of Rights in Land and a Quit Claim Deed (QCD), in defined areas within the improvement area; and

Whereas, The areas where the DOT wants the City to grant the QCD and conveyance of rights are within Parcel 7 and Parcel 12 as shown and included as Exhibits A and B, which Exhibits are part of this file: and

Whereas, The City obtained certain easement rights for public sewer facilities (sewer easements) by virtue of easement documents recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds as Document Nos. 4165736 and 4674405 respectively within parcel 7 and parcel 12, where the sewer easements are located; and

Whereas, The City also obtained certain easement rights for public water utility facilities (water easement) in and to the conveyed area by virtue of easement documents recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds as Document No. 4484021within Parcel 12 where the water easement is located; and

Whereas, While the sewer easement areas are not affected by the QCD, the said Conveyance of Rights partially lies on the water easement area but does not impact the public water utility; and
