Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a revised project agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design and construction of South 13th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Windlake Avenue with State and Federal aid under the Surface Transportation Program.
Body
Whereas, A project agreement has been executed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the City of Milwaukee for the improvement of South 13th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Windlake Avenue using State and Federal Aid under the Surface Transportation Program, in accordance with the Common Council Resolution File Number 111507, adopted March 20, 2012; and

Whereas, As part of the preliminary engineering process, project construction costs have been refined; and

Whereas, A revised project agreement including the updated construction costs has been received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation; and

Whereas, Construction funds for South 13th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Windlake Avenue project will be set-up in a separate resolution; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute the Revised Project Agreement for the improvement of South 13th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Windlake Avenue with updated construction costs; and, be it

Further Resolved, A copy of the revised project agreement is attached to this resolution file by reference as though set forth in full.
