Analysis
This ordinance repeals the following regulations relating to food inspection:

1. Chapter 65, regulation of bulk foods. Regulation of bulk foods is currently provided in ch. 68 of the code and relevant sections of the state statutes and administrative code.
2. Chapter 69, regulation of milk and milk products. Responsibility for milk inspection, outside of retail inspection, was transferred to the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection in 1972. Enforcement in retail establishments is provided in ch. 68 of the code and relevant sections of the state statutes and administrative code.
3. Chapter 70, meat and fish regulations. Responsibility for the inspection of meat outside of the retail setting was transferred to the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection in 1968. Enforcement in retail establishments is provided in ch. 68 of the code and relevant sections of the state statutes and administrative code.
4. Chapter 71, regulation of bakeries. Bakery regulation is provided in ch. 68 of the code and relevant sections of the state statutes and administrative code.
5. Chapter 72, regulation of sanitation of food containers. Food container sanitation regulations are provided in ch. 68 of the code and relevant sections of the state statutes and administrative code.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Chapters 65, 69, 70, 71 and 72 of the code are repealed.
