Whereas, West Howard Avenue was constructed in 1984 and is in need of rehabilitation; and

Whereas, The project is included in the Department of Public Works Local Road Program; and

Whereas, The Cities of Milwaukee and Greenfield share jurisdictional ownership of the roadway and will share the preliminary engineering and construction costs; and

Whereas, The City of Greenfield will be the lead agency of the project design and construction; and

Whereas, The Department of Public Works shall notify the City of Milwaukee of any such cost overruns and/or changes in scope approved by the Department of Public Works; and

Whereas, This project is programmed for construction in 2015; and

Whereas, Funding for the construction phase of the project will be included in a future resolution; now, therefore, be it
