Title
Resolution authorizing the proper City Officers to execute Sewer Easement Releases SER-2791A, SER-2791B and Quit Claim Deeds QCD-2851, QCD-2791A and QCD-2791B located within the lands bounded by West North Avenue, North 25th Street, West Meinecke Avenue and North 24th Street.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes the proper City Officers to execute Sewer Easement Releases, SER-2791A, SER-2791B and Quit Claim Deeds QCD-2851, QCD-2791A and QCD-2791B of sewer facilities. The sewer easement releases and the quit clam deeds are necessary because the existing public sewers are relocated as part of the proposed development of the St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care located within the area bounded by West North Avenue, North 25th Street, West Meinecke Avenue and North 24th Street. All existing sewers within said lands will be conveyed to the owner and the easements released because the sewers no longer serve the interest of the City.

Whereas, On October 25, 2009, the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee granted the City Sewer Easements SE-2791A and SE-2791B for access and maintenance of a 36-diameter and a 42-inch diameter combined main sewers within the lands bounded by West North Avenue, North 25th Street, West Meinecke Avenue and North 24th Street; and
Whereas, There are also 15x22-inch combined main sewers within the limits of vacated North 24th Place between West North and West Meinecke Avenues; and
Whereas, St. Ann Center Properties, Inc. (owner) desires to develop the areas (Development) described within said lands; and
Whereas, North 24th Place has been vacated to accommodate said Development; and
Whereas, Sewer Easements SE-2791A and SE-2791B no longer serve the interest of the City and will be released with the sewers therein conveyed to the owner; and
