Title
A substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from a General Planned Development known as the Milwaukee County Zoo to Institutional on land located at 10733 West Bluemound Road, on the south side of West Bluemound Road, east of North Mayfair Road, in the 10th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This zoning change was requested by the Milwaukee County Zoo as the GPD zoning is no longer necessary. The zoo intends to use this site to accommodate accessory parking and a new entrance to the Milwaukee County Zoo to replace parking lost by the highway interchange project.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-905(2)(c).0005. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for 10733 West Bluemound Road, Tax Key No. 410-9999-111, from General Planned Development (GPD) to Institutional District (TL).
