Analysis
This resolution authorizes the proper City Officers to execute a Conveyance of Rights to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation entitled “Conveyance of Rights in Land”, Custom based on WIDOT Document DT1660, for portions of Water Easements WE826A located north of Interstate Highway 94 and 1600’ West of S. 84th St., WE826B located north of Interstate Highway 94 and 1200’ West of S. 84th St., WE313 located east of S. 84th St. and north of W. O’Connor St., WE248A located between N. 95th St and the Zoo Freeway, and WE248D located in the Milwaukee County Zoological Park south of W. Blue Mound Rd. and west of the Zoo Freeway, in the 10th Aldermanic District.

Whereas, The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (“WIDOT”) Project I.D. No. 1060-33-80 has scheduled the reconstruction, improvement and widening of the Zoo Interchange in the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, The WIDOT Project I.D. No.1060-33-24 has created the Plat of Right-of-Way required for the reconstruction, improvement and widening of the Zoo Interchange in the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, The WIDOT Conveyance of Rights in Land document has provided the City of Milwaukee Water Utility with a Utility Project ID#1060-38-49 and R/W Parcel No.522; and

Whereas, The WIDOT has requested that the City of Milwaukee provide a Conveyance of Rights in Land and release, in defined areas within the expanded freeway right-of-way, the City’s easement rights arising under a 1997 easement (WE826A) Register of Deeds Document No.7465555, a 1997 easement (WE826B) Register of Deeds Document No.7465555, a 1981 easement (WE313) Register of Deeds Document No.4614176 and Document No.5522876, a 1968 ea...
