Whereas, The plaintiff has filed a claim against the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $84,000 for damage occurring on August 27, 2010, at 622 W. Lincoln Avenue, when flooding occurred at that address, and
Whereas, The City has agreed to settle the claim in the amount of $10,000, and
Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay this claim; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $10,000, payable to the order of Ron Harmeyer Law Office, LLC Client Trust Account (13035 West Bluemound Road, Suite 205A, Brookfield, Wisconsin 53005) in full and final payment of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claim, approved as to form and execution by the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to Water Works Account - 636506 - Fund No. 0410 - Organization 6411 - Program 2631 - Sub Class R643.
