Analysis
This resolution authorizes expenditures in excess of $100,000 and up to $200,000 to preserve 2425 West McKinley Avenue in accordance with Milwaukee Code of Ordinances, Section 308-1-11.
Body
Whereas, By passage of File No. 130995, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee approved an ordinance that any expenditures from the Housing Infrastructure Preservation Fund in excess of $100,000 be approved by the Common Council and the Special Joint Committee on the Redevelopment of Abandoned and Foreclosed Homes; and
 
Whereas, On April 21, 2014 the Department of City Development presented a report to the Special Joint Committee on the Redevelopment of Abandoned and Foreclosed Homes recommending expenditures in excess of $100,000 for repair of the property at 2425 West McKinley Avenue and was granted approval according to Milwaukee Code of Ordinances, Section 308-1-11; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of City Development is authorized to expend over $100,000 and up to $200,000 from the Housing Infrastructure Preservation Fund for the repair of 2425 West McKinley Avenue in accordance with Milwaukee Code of Ordinances, Section 308-1-11.
