Analysis
This resolution directs the Department of City Development to prepare a resolution to vacate said unimproved alley in accordance with vacation proceedings under power granted to the City of Milwaukee by Section 62.73, Wisconsin Statutes, and Section 308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. This vacation was requested by the Department of Public Works, since said unimproved alley is not needed for public purposes.

Whereas, It has been proposed by the Department of City Development that the unimproved North-South alley in the block north of West Main Street between South 60th Street and South 61st Street be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 62.73, Wisconsin Statutes; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of City Development is directed to prepare a resolution to vacate said unimproved alley in accordance with Section 308-28 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances.
