Title
Subtitute resolution relative to various legislative bills.
Body
Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following position on the bill hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby approves the following legislative bill and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committee to support such bill, as amended and use its best endeavors to have the same enacted into law, viz:
SB-269/AB-520 Terminating a tenancy for imminent threat of serious physical harm, making leases that restrict access to certain services void and unenforceable, and prohibiting the imposition of fees for local government emergency services.

Further Resolved, that the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee is opposed to the following legislative bills and hereby instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees in opposition to said bills and use its best endeavors in opposition to the same viz:
AB-418 Restricting access to the Consolidated Court Automated Programs (CCAP).
AB-496 Limiting the searchability of a governmental Internet listing of property taxes assessed.
AB-482 Prohibiting Milwaukee Public Schools from imposing residency requirements on teachers.
