This resolution authorizes settlement of the claim of Lorette Russenberger in the amount of $6,259.66.
Body
Whereas, The claimant, Lorette Russenberger, C.I. File No: 06-L-64, has filed a claim against the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $12,424.64; and
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has agreed to settle the claim in the amount of $6,259.66; and
Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to settle this claim; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue two City checks totaling $6,259.66, payable to the order of Lorette Russenberger, in full and final payment of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claims, approved as to form and execution by the City Attorney; said amount of $3,153.50 to be charged to the Damages and Claims Account 006300 - Fund No. 0001 - Organization 1490 - Program 0001 - Sub Class S118 and said amount of $3,106.16 to be charged to the Water Liability Account 006300 - Fund No. 0410 - Organization 6410 - Program 2631 - Sub Class R643.
