Title
Substitute ordinance to establish a Development Incentive Zone overlay known as East End Menomonee Valley Development Incentive Zone, on land located generally West of North 6th Street on the North and South Sides of West Canal Street, in the 12th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance establishes a Development Incentive Zone and approves Exhibit A relating to permitted and prohibited uses and Exhibit B relating to performance standards.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

Section 295-1007(2)(b).0011. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area described and bounded by the centerline of the Menomonee River, the centerline of North-South I-94/43, the centerline of the South Menomonee Canal, the centerline of South 6th Street, a line 530 feet South and parallel to the south line of West Canal Street, the east property line of Parcel 2 of Certified Survey Map No. 4627, the centerline of West Canal Street and a line 48 feet West and parallel to the east property line of Parcel 2 of Certified Survey Map No. 4627 extended, from Industrial-Light (IL2) and Detailed Planned Development (DPD) to Development Incentive Zone (DIZ).

Part 2. In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-1007(2)(a) of the Code relating to the establishment of Development Incentive Zones, the Common Council approves the list of permitted and prohibited uses, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part thereof as though fully set forth herein.
